Mangalore Cultural Association, Qatar Successfully Hosts “InQUIZitive 2026” and “Bhashan Spordho 2026

The Mangalore Cultural Association, Qatar (MCA) successfully organized InQUIZitive 2026 and Bhashan Spordho 2026 on May 15, 2026, bringing together members of the community for an evening celebrating knowledge, culture, language, confidence, and talent.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children, youth, and adults, reflecting MCA’s continued commitment to promoting cultural engagement and encouraging intellectual and creative expression within the community.

The evening featured InQUIZitive 2026, MCA’s quiz competition, which challenged participants across a variety of topics including current affairs, general knowledge, entertainment, sports, science, and culture. The competition created an energetic and interactive atmosphere, with teams displaying excellent teamwork, presence of mind, and competitive spirit.

The winners of InQUIZitive 2026 were:

1st Place – HD Alliance 2nd Place – Clueless Duo 3rd Place – Kallianpur Warriors

The event also featured Bhashan Spordho 2026, MCA’s speech competition, where participants showcased their public speaking skills, creativity, confidence, and command over language across multiple age categories.

The winners of Bhashan Spordho 2026 were:

5–8 Years Category

1st Place – Ananya D’Sa 2nd Place – Ciara Fernandes 3rd Place – Angelo Veigas

9–12 Years Category

1st Place – Prenia Pinto 2nd Place – Leora Pinto

13–17 Years Category

1st Place – Princia Pinto

18 & Above Category

1st Place – Pressy D’Sa 2nd Place – Hema Fernandes 3rd Place – Savious Crasta

The event was judged by distinguished members of the community, Ms. Riana Pinto, Mr. Alfred Cyril and Ms. Merlyn DSouza whose encouragement and thoughtful evaluations contributed greatly to the success of the competitions. MCA extends its sincere gratitude to all the judges for their valuable time and support.

A special highlight of the evening was the honoring of Sabitha Monis in recognition of her inspiring contributions toward empowerment, inclusion, and community service. MCA acknowledged her resilience, dedication, and positive impact on the community, presenting her with a special memento as a token of appreciation.

The Executive Committee of MCA expressed heartfelt appreciation to all participants, parents, judges, volunteers, sponsors, and organizing committee members whose dedication and teamwork ensured the smooth and successful execution of the program.

The evening concluded with prize distribution and words of appreciation, celebrating not only the winners but also the spirit of participation, learning, and togetherness demonstrated throughout the event.
